Taking the Boy Out of Cowboy (Hats)

There is no accessory that better represents western fashion than the cowboy hat. The very name cowboy hat indicates a man’s hat and yet they are definitely not just for men. Women who sport cowboy hats look tough, capable and ready to take on anything that life might throw at them. Yet at the same time, they show a distinctive sense of style and femininity. The cowboy hat may not be the most fashionable or high style accessory, but every woman to wear it knows that it can make one heck of a statement.

The original cowboy hat was created out of necessity by the cow wranglers spread all over the western plains of the United States. These cowboys travelled over vast tracks of land and were completely exposed to a wide variety of elements from scorching hot sun to unending rain. What eventually developed was the cowboy hat with a wide brim to protect the wearer from the sun and the elements. The first commercially available distinctive cowboy hat is attributed to J.B. Stetson who marketed the “Boss of the Plains” hat, which remains the standard universal image for the cowboy hat. Today’s cowboy hats are modified to create different fashions through changing material, color, and brim or crown shape.

Despite the fact that ranch workers are described as ‘cowboys,’ women also worked out on the ranch and in the sun, wearing much of the same clothing as men, with the single exception of a long skirt and riding sidesaddle. As western culture became more popular and Wild West Shows started traveling the country, women began to modify their garb. Women could be seen sporting split skirts so they could ride astride and more colorful clothing choices in the traditional styles with added sequins, silver and fringe. This style was further refined as cowboy movies became a huge success in popular culture and movie designers developed attractive clothing for their heroines.

Today’s cowboy hat comes in a huge array of styles and choices from straw to felt, black or white to bright pink. Many are tough, functional hats with little decoration that can withstand both the elements and abuse heaped on them in a ranch environment. But now there are also cowboy hats for different events, from rodeos to fashion shows and each represents the wearer’s individual style. But no matter how the details may change, a woman who wears a cowboy hat makes a statement. “I am gutsy, tough, hardworking, and honest, but I am all woman.”

Trucker hats was one of the famous trend in fashion if we go back to y2k. the teens are very much in the fade of trucker hats. most the college & school going youth are found with a cap on their heads while walking in the streets. the familiarity reaches to its peak when celebrities in the fashion & sports adobe this style in different fashion shows. that’s is why there was (& still is ) a separate section dedicated for hats in any retail store of fashion designers & dressings outlets. all the famous brands in fashion industry mark their indentity slogans at the front of these hats to make it more attractive for buyers & for the popularity of their own products. the brands like Nike, Adidas & Armani gets extensive sale when they offers a free caps with their jeans & shirts.

The history of truckers caps are linked with farmers & truck drivers in America who use it while work. specially the workers category living in the urban area are the main contributors to the familiarity of these kinds of hats which is later became the hottest fashion symbol among singers, fashion models & youth in the America & Britain.

The fame of these caps are not of that importance as it was in gone time. but however the sports persons are still incomplete without the so called truckers hat in their practices these days. moreover different technology vendors are using conventional trucker caps for marketing purpose for promoting their brand among the youngsters.

Lather shoes, always looks elegent

A pair of shiny lather shoes makes your impression more attractive. one good aspect of lather is that it can be polished every day. one the other hand it is comfortable as well so you can wear it anywhere. for example if you are employed then you must have to manage your dressing in a decent manner. yes! most of the people did it. but a common mistake about shoes is very common in most of the people. they are not good in choosing the right pair of shoes for a specific dress, for instance if you wear brown shoes with black trouser then this is what i called a mismatch. using dark light colors shoes with dark color trouser or skirt is wrong dress code if you want to have a decent impression in your office. on the other hand using non lather shoes at office is also a blunder. hence the right way is to go for the right shoes for the right dress. don’t wear the shoes which looks casual, you can use any good quality lather shoes in your office.

However in the recent trends of western fashion. you will find sparking color shoes with totally non matching suits in the fashion shows. this is good for causal dressing in parties but don’t remember you didn’t look cool while wearing it in office or any other place where you want to look decent but not hot.
