Mary Quant! Great designer of skirts.

Yes it was back in 1960s when women’s in the western world are exposed to the mini skirts as a part of fashion. It was difficult to adopt this style as it was not considered good for women’s to get body exposure in public places but with the revolution of television & fashion magazines, stylish women’s & wealthy girls started wearing mary quant styled mini skirts in their daily routine, soon it get much popularity & the time arrived when every second women in the west world was found of mini skirts. Conventional suits was replaced by skirts & fully covered shirts was changed to sleeveless shifts, the sleeveless shift refers means a shirt with no sleeves.

But however the mini skirts were not those minis in length as it is today. The length of the skirts was quite enough to covers the knee & the upper part of the leg of women. Mary quant is a designer who introduced many trends in clothing’s that is still dominant in the fashion industry of western world.
